Located in Newcastle city centre, a short walk from the vibrant Quayside, New Bridge Street en suite residence was recently opened in September 2011.

Enjoy shopping, culture, sport and Newcastle's exciting nightlife, all within easy walking distance of the accommodation.

Large single rooms withdouble beds (recommend single occupancy) arranged within a self contained flat of between 4-7 rooms, provide comfortable beds, en suite bathroom, bed linen, towels and complimentary toiletries, tea/coffee making facilities, TV, hairdryer and free internet access, cables available to borrow from reception.

Stylish communal kitchens also include ironing facilities, fridge, microwave and lounge area. Lift access to all rooms. A limited number of accessible rooms are available in each block.

Full English breakfast is available in our cafe at City Campus East, two minutes walk from the accommodation.

Tea/coffee making facilities available in communal kitchens which also contain a microwave, fridge, ironing board and iron. A variety of coffee shops and cafeterias are open across the campus from 8am to 3pm on week days during the summer vacation, serving Starbucks coffee, hot meals, deli sandwiches, artisan cakes and pastries.

Sainsbury’s Local available opposite the accommodation.

Five minutes' walk to a wide choice of city centre bars and restaurants.

Other facilities

The new £30m sports facility, Sport Central, was opened in September 2010 and offers a range of fitness and leisure facilities for guests with temporary membership rates available.

£5.00 per day provides unlimited access to the fitness centre, group and platinum exercise class programmes, casual swim or aqua fit classes in our 25m pool or scale the climbing wall. Stay for 7 days and enjoy use of the facilities for just £20.00 inclusive.

Other facilities include use of badminton and squash courts, and a golf simulator (check rates). All details available in guest rooms and at reception.

Check in at Reception which is open weekdays up to 5pm weekdays. Please advise if you will arrive outside of these times and we will arrange check in. Arrangements for left luggage on arrival and departure may be made with Reception.

By Car: On arrival in the city, the campus can be accessed from the Central Motorway, A167(M).

From South: after the Tyne Bridge take the 2^nd exit onto a large roundabout, taking the 4^th exit onto the A193 (east), (NB No stopping or parking on NewBridge Street itself), straight on at the traffic lights, at the 2^nd set of traffic lights, turn left and next left into ‘Back NewBridge Street’, straight on to the glazed Reception on the left.

From North: after the Central motorway underpass, missing the Tynemouth exit, take the next exit onto a large roundabout, take the 1^st exit onto the A193 (east), (NB No stopping or parking on New Bridge Street itself), straight on at the traffic lights, at the 2^nd set of traffic lights, turn left and next left into ‘Back New Bridge Street’, straight on to the glazed Reception on the left.

Limited parking on site. Permit available to park in nearby campus car park on weekdays. Pay and display at weekends.

Cycle storage is also available.

By Rail: The station is approx 20 minutes walk from the City Campus or five minutes by taxi or Metro (alighting at Haymarket or Monument Metro Station). Manors Metro Station is opposite this residence, please change at the Monument Station.

By Air: There is a Metro station in the airport terminal building - the nearest Metro station to is Haymarket or Monument, or change at Monument for Manors station, opposite the residence.Approx 10-15 minute walk to New Bridge Street.
